He may have a point. It is a bad(in your case) coincidence that every time you do have a blog or other reasonable posting, the Midwest oil cartel(the one referred to as Speedway) jacks up the price. Giving the indication that you are in cahoots. I dont believe thats the case, but the timing is such that it makes you scratch your head sometimes. Just an observation.

It seemes like everytime something is said the prices rise, just like a bad omen or something.
Too bad we are pawns for the speculators, and big money interests.
You may not have an opinion on this, but given the general tone of some people on this site, I don't think I'm alone in this feeling.

Actually JCube, part of GasBuddy is saving motorists money at the pump, and one of the greatest services we offer our members is letting them know before prices rise. And even before we told people about this, these sharp increases have been happening since 2000, the Federal Trade Commission even documented this and calls it "price cycling".
Instead of pointing at the people who are helping, it may serve you better to educate yourself on the subject.

The reason prices are the way they are. Someone in the area dictates the ups and downs. In the midwest, its Ashland Oil. Based out of Enon, Ohio. You might know them better as SPEEDWAY. The stores and the refinery are two different entities now. Maximizing the bang off the oil. I'm done blaming the anaylists and speculators.
