By non-stock I meant that the original 351W had been replaced by a 351C, which wasn't a factory option in 1969. The engine itself was stock but i later replaced the camshaft.

Small world! My other F-L-M was a 1969 Mercury Cougar purchased with a non-stock 351 Cleveland in it.

The 428 CJ was factory rated at 335 horses for insurance purposes from what I had read, even though they put out a lot more than that. It was merely to keep insurance rates down.

So...where did you come up with the 428 CJ then?
